Many data carriers contain sensitive data that must be destroyed after use and expiry of relevant retention obligations and their deadlines in order to prevent unauthorized access to this information, to ensure the security of the company and to comply with data protection regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG). Hard drive destruction

A hard drive (2.5-inch or 3.5-inch) is a data storage device in computers and other electronic devices that permanently stores digital information such as operating systems, applications, documents, and media. Traditional hard drives (HDDs) use rotating magnetic disks, while more modern solid state drives (SSDs) are based on flash memory chips and have no mechanical parts. Hard drives are “non-volatile” storage, meaning that data is retained even when the device is turned off.

Especially in times of data misuse, identity theft and cybercrime, the secure destruction of hard drives is more important than ever.

We physically destroy the hard drives in a special shredding system on site in accordance with ISO 21964 / DIN 66399, level H-5 (< 320 mm²).

Using proven technology, we ensure rapid and reliable destruction of your hard drives, so that data protection and security are guaranteed immediately on site.
